About Me

I always felt I was different to other children. My sister was born with various disabilities when I was two years old, and I always remember feeling a sense of responsibility to help my mum and dad look after her. I was a very shy child and would find social events emotionally draining. I also had a vivid imagination or what I realise now was a sixth sense. I would spend time playing in the garden with my sister and the fairies that came to visit us. When my grandfather passed when I was 8 years old, I was comforted with his visits at night, when he would sit on my bed and smile so I knew everything would be okay.
